International Day of Happiness

United Nations Association of Atlanta and United Nations Association Young Professionals of Atlanta are thrilled to join June Cline (Certified Speaking Professional, internationally-known humorist, speaker and author) and Sandy Weaver Carman (former radio personality turned award-winning author, speaker and audio expert) in celebration of the International Day of Happiness, March 20, 2015. UNA-Atlanta members are invited to join June and Sandy for an interactive dinner, where they will be talking about their Amazon #1-selling book, Happiness Recipe- Whippin' up wit, wisdom and wonderful food. There will be a discussion on personal happiness, how to find it and how to sustain it.

Hunger Banquet: An Interactive Conversation on World Hunger and Extreme Poverty

The Hunger Banquet is an event collaboration between UNICEF at Georgia Tech and United Nations Association of Atlanta and United Nations Association Young Professionals of Atlanta. Attendees will gain a better understanding and sense of responsibility towards one of the most pressing issues of all time - global poverty and world hunger. Through an interactive demonstration, participants will understand the cause-and-effect relationship of the disparity of food and unequal wealth distribution.

Lindy Wood, Senior Education and Outreach Manager, Atlanta Community Food Bank 
John Moeller, President and CEO, Action Ministries.


This event is for Georgia Tech students only.
