Georgia Leaders Honored For Aiding United Nations Foundation’s
Nothing But Nets Campaign
Nothing But Nets is a grassroots movement designed to end the deadly disease, malaria, by providing sub-Saharan African families with bed nets. Congressman Doug Collins (GA-9), representatives from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the United Methodist Church and many other community leaders will speak on their efforts, progress and new opportunities to bring the spread of malaria to an end.
The United Nations Foundation encourages the public to attend this free event and become inspired to join Nothing But Nets in protecting the families of the countries where malaria is the leading killer disease that is transmitted by a mosquito bite.
UNA-USA, Atlanta will have an information booth during the event to greet attendees.
